Showing Up for Our Community, One Meal at a Time

Experity Ventures is a national sponsor of Operation Turkey, a volunteer-powered movement serving thousands across the country. Every Thanksgiving, millions of people gather around tables covered in food. But for far too many, that table is empty.

That is why Operation Turkey has spent the last 24 years doing something extraordinary: bringing together more than 50,000 volunteers across the country to prepare and deliver warm meals to anyone who needs one. No paid staff. No bureaucracy. Just people helping people.

This year, the Experity Ventures and Thrivest Link team was proud to be part of that effort as a national sponsor, supporting 4,800 meals right here in the Philadelphia region.

What makes Operation Turkey special is not just the scale. It is the spirit. Volunteers cook, package, and hand-deliver meals so that everyone, regardless of circumstance, is met with dignity on a day meant for community.

The People Behind the Work

A huge thank you goes to Jason Keen, our Director of Branding, who organizes this effort inside Thrivest every year and brings his family along to volunteer. It has become something of a tradition, the good kind.

Joining him this year was Kyle Kane from Thrivest and Ken Bonenberger, Esq., General Counsel and Chief Risk Officer at Experity. The photos say it all: early morning kitchens, teamwork, and a whole lot of heart.

Why We Keep Showing Up

The mission behind Operation Turkey is simple: Make sure no one spends Thanksgiving hungry. No matter where you are on Thanksgiving Day, anyone can participate. You can prep food, deliver meals, donate, or simply spread the word so the movement keeps growing. Because when 100 percent of an organization’s work comes from volunteers, awareness is fuel.
